TabTrade Review - The Good and the Catch

TabTrade — The Short Version

TabTrade.com went live in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background matters. It means the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

What you can trade: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, equities, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that coverage is solid.

What You Trade On

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you know MT4 or MT5 before, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Many people like it better than MT5 once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That will be a good addition once it is live.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits beginners.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at a much wider range.

Does it matter? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.

Combine those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.

Regulation

This is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. None of this guarantee anything. It does factor into your decision.

The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that makes sense depends on you.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, TabTrade add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you commit.
